The four (4) hour plus surgery is complete.
She was in ICU after surgery for about five (5) hours so I did not see her until shortly before midnight last night and stayed for a brief moment and came back to rest. Very long day.
She was very uncomfortable and in a lot of pain as you would expect after a lengthy stomach area surgery. Surgery went OK but no way of knowing for several days if this resolved this issue or not. Somewhat alert but "in and out" of it.
Back pain will still be an issue and hopefully I can learn today if the recent MRI showed another fracture.

Wayne,
Get some rest while you can. Joy will be taken care of at the hospital. Will keep her in our prayers.

Hi Guys,
Sorry we haven't posted for awhile. We've been out of town visiting some friends out west. At lot has happened in the past week. Delighted to hear that Joy's surgery was successful. Let's hope her pain issues will be over soon. Not to gloat Wayne, but it looks like you'll be buying the steaks this year. Close game- and very exciting. We're anxiously waiting to hear more (good) news about Joy's condition.
Love to all,
Steve & Trina
Dear Wayne
We were very relieved that Joy withstood the operation.
As she heals from the surgery we will be praying that the nausea issues will have subsided.
Please give Joy our love when you are visiting.
Thanks again for updating eyeryone.
Love
Kitty and Bill
