"Perhaps he knew, as I did not, that the Earth was made round so that we would not see too far down the road". What a journey this has been and now your journey home will begin.

Love,
Caroline

And they all said AMEN!!!! Chapter one has been closed, chapter two now begins. We can't wait to have you both back in our home. Through the power of prayer from your friends, family, and people you have never met, and the grace of god, this day has finally come. Have a safe journey home. See y'all in a few days. Love Cathy, Kayce, Meggie and Coach K.

I am so happy to hear the good news that I know you've been waiting for! It has been quite an amazing journey, and I'm so glad that you are starting a new chapter. I sent a note to N. C. so I hope they forward it to you. I didn't imagine you'd be leaving so soon after the holidays, but I'm glad that Joy is well enough to go. I bet that she will feel even better once she gets back home.
Congratulations!
Love, Laraine

Dear all,
It's about time, don't you think! We're thrilled with your progress. The weather in Chicago is warming up, to welcome you home no doubt. You guys have toughed it out and must be awfully proud of yourselves. Sorry we couldn't hook up before you left town, but we were sure happy to see you go. We'll have to plan on a steak dinner at the lake! Happy New Year to all.
Love,
Steve & Trina

Hope all is well and you are settled. When are you going to write YOUR book, Joy? Thinking of titles: "The Long Journey Home"? "Take A Deep Breath"? "Do you (gasp) Want To (gasp) Know (gasp) What's New (gasp)"? "Breathing Made Easier (the hard way)"? Much Love, Jackie Wilson Rose

Dear Joy and Wayne,

Nothing pleases the heart more than those words Going Home after a long hospital stay. We are so pleased and blessed to be able to say Welcome Home. An agonizing journey at times but through these trials of life we can and do grow stronger. Continued prayers now and always.

Love,
Dave and Jan
